Your Documents are Safe with Us
Plant-based destruction begins with Highland Recycling and Shredding's trained security drivers transport documents in locked security containers in locked trucks to Highland Recycling and Shredding's facility. We use electronic scanners to monitor the chain of custody of these documents and the movement of each truck is recorded with GPS technology. Destruction of materials is accomplished by an Ameri-Shred shredder. This is a heavy-duty industrial-grade machine that can destroy over 2 tons of paper documents per hour. The shredded paper is shipped to certified paper mills, where it is pulped, de-inked, and recycled. You can also witness the destruction of your material via video at your office computer.
